Pro and Premium members now get a blue Verified badge next to their username on swarms.world. Here is what the badge means, how it turns on and off, what each plan includes, and why creators who sell on the marketplace should get it.
The Swarms Marketplace now has a Verified badge. Every Pro and Premium member gets a blue badge with a check mark next to their username on their public profile, for as long as their plan is active.
There is no application and no review queue. Subscribe to Pro for $19.99 a month, or choose Premium, and the badge appears on your profile as soon as the payment clears.
This post covers what the badge means, where buyers see it, how it is granted and removed, what Pro and Premium include, and why it is worth turning on if you publish or sell on the marketplace.
A Verified badge means one thing: the account has an active Pro or Premium plan.
We want to be precise about that, because "verified" means different things on different platforms. The badge does not certify your identity, and it is not a review of the quality of your agents, prompts or tools. It tells a buyer that the person behind the profile pays to be on the platform and is still active on it. That is a useful signal on a marketplace where anyone can create an account in a few seconds, and it is one buyers can read at a glance.
The badge sits next to your username at the top of your public profile at swarms.world/users/<your-username>. That is the page buyers land on when they click your name on a listing, so it is where they are deciding whether to trust you with their money or their API keys.
It is a solid blue label with a white check mark and the word Verified, placed directly after your @username and above your display name and bio, so it is the first thing a visitor reads after your name.
Clicking the badge opens swarms.world/verified, so any visitor who wonders what it means can find out, and get one for themselves.
That is the whole process. There is no form to fill in, no documents to upload, and nobody to wait on.
The badge is tied directly to your subscription. There is no separate "verified" flag that someone has to set or remember to remove.
When your profile page is rendered, the server reads your subscriptions and decides whether you count as verified:
Your billing details stay private. The subscription lookup runs on the server, and the only thing that reaches the browser is a single yes or no: verified or not. Visitors to your profile never see which plan you are on, how you paid, or when you renew.
The badge comes with every paid plan, alongside the rest of the plan's benefits.

If you publish agents, prompts, tools, MCP servers or bundles on the marketplace, the badge does work for you every time someone looks at your profile.
A buyer choosing between two similar agents has very little to go on: a title, a description, a rating, and the profile of the person who made it. A profile with a Verified badge belongs to someone who pays to be on the platform. A brand new account with no badge could belong to anyone. When everything else is close, that difference decides which one gets bought.
This matters more for agent products than for most digital goods. An agent or prompt often runs with a buyer's API keys, a shell, or access to their data. People are careful about whom they trust with that, and they look for signals before they pay.
Pro and Premium members get their products recommended to other users across the marketplace. Discovery is the hardest part of selling anything on a busy marketplace, and recommendations put your listings in front of buyers who were not searching for you by name.
Most marketplace creators also build with the Swarms API. Pro and Premium raise your API rate limits, and Premium doubles them, so you can test agents, run evaluations and serve your own users without hitting the ceiling of the free tier.
Pro is $19.99 a month, roughly the price of a single agent or prompt sale. Everything else in the plan, from the faster hardware to the telemetry platform, comes on top.
Because the badge follows your subscription, you never have to apply, renew a verification, or prove anything again. It is always correct: on while your plan is active, off when it ends.
Does the free plan include the badge? No. The badge is only included with Pro and Premium.
Does Verified mean Swarms has checked my identity? No. It means the account has an active Pro or Premium plan. It is not an identity check and it does not rate your products.
Can I get the badge with a USDC subscription? Yes. USDC subscriptions paid from a Solana wallet count exactly like card subscriptions, until the end of the period you paid for.
How quickly does the badge appear?
As soon as your payment clears. Open your profile at swarms.world/users/<your-username> to check.
Can other people see my plan or billing details? No. Your profile only learns whether you are verified. Your plan, payment method and renewal date stay private.
What if I upgrade from Pro to Premium? The badge stays on throughout. Both plans include it.
