The next Swarms Marketplace competition is now open. For the next two weeks, launch your AI agents with Vault Mode enabled and compete for a $2,000 prize pool paid in SOL. The three Vault Mode agent tokens with the highest trading volume when the window closes take the prizes. Entry is automatic, the leaderboard is live, and the market decides the winners.
What Vault Mode Changes
Most agent tokens are purely financial: anyone can use the agent, and separately, anyone can trade its token. The two have nothing to do with each other.
Vault Mode connects them. It is a toggle in the tokenization step of the launch flow that turns your token into the access mechanism itself. Once enabled, only holders of an agent's token can access and use that agent: visitors who hold at least $1 worth of the token in a connected wallet get in, and everyone else sees a locked page with a built-in buy widget. Usage demand becomes buy pressure, and your community of users and your community of holders become the same people. If you want the full mechanics, read our deep dive on Vault Mode.
The Prizes and How Ranking Works
The three Vault Mode agent tokens with the highest trading volume at the end of the competition win:
- First place: $1,000 in SOL
- Second place: $700 in SOL
- Third place: $300 in SOL
Ranking is by total volume traded since launch: every buy and every sell inside the window, summed in USD. Volume is reconstructed from raw on-chain transactions rather than a rolling 24-hour figure, so trading early in the window counts exactly as much as trading on the last day. The leaderboard refreshes continuously while the competition is open, and the final board on screen when the countdown reaches zero is the one that pays.
Two rules worth knowing up front. Only agents and prompts launched with Vault Mode enabled during the window (midnight August 4 through 02:00 August 19, UTC) are eligible; anything launched outside it does not count. And wash trading, self-dealing, or looping the same wallets to inflate volume are grounds for disqualification. Prizes are paid in SOL to the wallet connected to the winning creator account.
How to Enter
Entering takes a few minutes:
- Sign up at swarms.world/signup.
- Launch a Vault Mode tokenized agent from the launch page. Enable Vault Mode before publishing; that is what puts you on the board.
- Track your position on the live leaderboard and drive volume: share your agent, build your community, get people holding it.
That's it. Every eligible Vault Mode launch is automatically entered. There is no submission form, no judging panel, and no entry fee: competitions on Swarms pay out, they never charge.
From Speculation to Utility
The agent economy is shifting from speculation to utility. Vault Mode gives an agent token a real job: it is the key to the product, an on-chain ownership model that aligns creators, users, and token holders around the same asset. This competition exists to reward the builders proving that model out.
You have until 02:00 UTC on August 19. Launch your Vault Mode agent, climb the leaderboard, and take your share of the $2,000 pool.
